So far it's hit and miss for feeds, some work, some do not.

I have tested using a Windows Server 2008 R2 server for the share with multiple aliases. I was perusing one of the many newsletters and came across some useful information from Google Analytics based on the anonymous usage data collected.

The 2011 trend for internet browsers has declined for Windows, down 5.1% from 2010 to 84.8%. Mac has increased 0.7% to 5.2%, Linux relatively unchanged at 0.7%, and Other has almost doubled to 9.3%.

This session was for all intents and purposes to sell Hyper-V to ESX clients. A show of hands at the start confirmed that - most of the attendees already use VMware, and many also use Hyper-V.  For me this helped clarify some things that I knew of previous versions of Hyper-V but now have updates with 2008 R2 SP1.

WebMatrix as a development tool is bundled with IIS Express and SQL Server Compact. Both run in user space, so unlike other tools that require IIS to be running as a service (and be maintained as a service) this works well for functional testing.

The lineup to get in was huge, coming out of the breakfast hall was where the lineup started.

I had mentioned before that the beta and release candidate went well.

The upgrade of my RC didn't show in Windows Update, but going to the IE page on Microsoft.com and running the downloader went seamlessly on my test Windows 7 computer.  A clean upgrade IE8 to IE9 also went well, and was a rather quick.
